About Suzanne Hazard

I've been working in the graphic design and advertising field for twenty years, and hold a BFA in graphic design from Rhode Island School of Design. My design experience spans a diverse range of media, including Logos, Branding, Print, Exhibition Design, Signage and Websites.

I began my career at Crocker, Inc, a small design studio in Boston, where I worked on brochures, logos and packaging. When the internet took off – I moved to Digitas as a Senior Designer. I designed websites for clients such as Neiman Marcus, L.L. Bean, Xerox and the National Basketball Association. My next stop was as an Art Director at

PARTNERS+simons where I worked on accounts including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Quaker Fabrics and Boston University.

In 2006, I founded Seagrass Studios as a way to offer freelance help to creative departments in need of extra design hands. I loved the feeling of helping out when there was a tight deadline. It was during this time I decided

to follow my strengths and worked hard to build a solid client roster of my own. I’ve been successful in obtaining a wide range of projects, from medical staples to dirty laundry to dog bones. I absolutely love what I do and feel lucky to say that.

When I’m not solving a design problem I can be found in a rink (hockey mom) or sailing in Fisher’s Island Sound. Having grown up near the water my heart has always belonged to the ocean.
